Launch of Flight Feather

We have an important announcement – probably the biggest announcement we’ve made since starting the agency back in 2021.

From 1st September, The Nest will be known as Flight Feather.

Outgrowing Our Name

When we first launched the agency in our bedrooms in 2021, we envisaged working solely with advertisers at a certain life-stage – startups and scale-ups, smaller advertisers with ambitions for growth.

The idea was that we’d bring them into The Nest, nurture and develop them with our paid media expertise, helping them to grow wings and help take them to the skies. We’ve had a lot of success doing that, and we still love working with those kinds of brands with those challenges.

However, quite quickly we started working with client partners and advertisers that sit outside that bracket; businesses at a different, more advanced life-stage – FTSE 100 businesses, international wine producers, some of the UK’s fastest growing companies, house-hold brands – and, to be honest, the name The Nest no longer reflects who we are or what we’ve become.

That’s why now feels like the right time for a change.

Flight Feather: The Enablers of Flight

We’re still the agency that helps brands fly, but we are now Flight Feather, the enablers of flight. Helping businesses to take flight for the first time, or helping them soar higher.

Enabling flight through paid media done right: a focus on quality, initiative, collaboration, and effectiveness, focusing on the metrics that actually matter.

We’ll continue working with startups and scale-ups, as long as that partnership makes sense for everyone. But we’ll also keep growing our work with larger advertisers – brands with bigger budgets who are perhaps not getting the care and attention they deserve from a larger network agency, or perhaps are spending heavily on performance marketing but are seeing plateaus in results and need an injection of growth through brand channels.

We remain independent. We remain boutique. And we remain obsessed with craft, collaboration, initiative and effectiveness. These remain central to our proposition and how we will continue to do business.

In many ways, not a lot is changing. Our logo icon will remain the same. Our tone of voice and colour palette will stay consistent. We’re proud of the brand we’ve built and the strength of our “Done Right” proposition.

While this is an important announcement, it’s really just a small, and perhaps overdue, change. It’s simply a new name to sit alongside that familiar winged icon.

Excited for What Comes Next

We’re hugely thankful and proud of everything we’ve done under The Nest and what it became. But this is about where we’re going, and having a name that better reflects who we are and how we’ll continue to grow.

The renaming process wasn’t easy. It took time to land something that felt right, something that could carry what we stand for. We hope you like it.

We’re genuinely excited about what the future holds for Flight Feather, for our team, and for our clients.

If you’d like to hear more, we’re always happy to chat. We’re also throwing a small party on the 25th September to celebrate. Drop us a note if you fancy coming along to celebrate with us.
